My enrollment as a masters student at Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute is only the latest step in my never-ending battle against mediocrity, a conflict that's taken me from the Architecture department at the University of Virginia and back again. This leg of the long, strange trip ends with my graduation in August 2012, to be continued who knows where?
A native Pittsburgher, I share some of the city’s quirky dualities, enjoying gritty industrial relics and modern technological splendor in equal measure. Outside of HCI, my interests include illustration, comics, music, acting, and gaming. I’m also an avid tinkerer, diving energetically into just about any field that shows promise.
I’m currently seeking a job in which I will be able to apply my full range of talents towards achieving a tangible positive impact on peoples’ lives, whether through art, science or technology. If you’re a company or individual out there fighting the good fight, drop me a line! I’d love to talk with you about how to improve the human experience.
